  • How will online tutoring commence/work?
    When it's time for a session, we'll provide you with a meeting link to join. We use a variety of online tools, including a digital whiteboard, alongside writing tablets to engage students and effectively communicate challenging concepts. To enhance your experience, we offer the option to borrow a digital writing tablet for a small down payment, depending on the size you choose. This allows you to seamlessly interact with questions and collaborate on the shared whiteboard, making communication and feedback much more effective. If you decide to discontinue our service, returning the tablet will result in a full refund of your down payment!
  • Do you offer group tutoring as well?
    At the moment, we only provide 1-on-1 tutoring. In the future, we may introduce small group sessions for 2-3 students. If you're interested in small group tutoring with people you know, feel free to reach out to support@mathelevate.au, and we'll do our best to accommodate your request.
  • How qualified are MathElevate Tutors?
    Our tutors are incredibly capable individuals, each tutor having excelled in the HSC courses for their respective subjects. We have an incredible median ATAR of 98.75, with our highest being a 99.8. Every one of our tutors is also a Distinguished Achiever in their chosen subjects, meaning they attained the highest possible band. Many of our tutors are graduates of an accelerated program, where they completed the Mathematics Advanced HSC a year early. Their average HSC mark exceeded 98, a result we're extremely proud of. But more than that, we're proud of the passion and commitment to learning that is continually demonstrated by every one of our tutors. From excelling in the Australian Maths Competition, to being invited to Hong Kong for ranking among the highest in the world in the IMMC, our tutors dedicate themselves both inside and outside the classroom.
  • Once I place a booking, what happens next
    Once you have placed a booking you will be contacted by us from support@mathelevate.au where we will tell you your allocated tutor and confirm the date of your first session. Please make sure to check your junk email inbox!
  • What if, after the first session, I feel my tutor isn't right for me?
    If you feel your tutor isn’t the right fit we can help find you a different tutor that can fit your needs better.
  • How do payments work?
    We will send you an invoice within 24 hours of each lesson.
